About HeyGF

HeyGF is an adult AI girlfriend site that puts the characters first: 141 of them, each with a job and a backstory, plus a builder for your own. It suits people who want an uncensored AI girlfriend with personality and can live with coins rationing the photos and video.

The girls, and their boundaries

The roster is 141 characters, each with a full name, age and country. Most are in their twenties, but about one in five is over thirty and the oldest, a retired diplomat from Nigeria, is 67. The site calls every girl "crafted by real people," with her own moods and boundaries, so you'll need to earn her attention. Jolene Maddox, 26, is the profile to show anyone who thinks a character sheet is a name and a hair color. Under her name sit Start Chatting and Call me buttons and Feed and Private tabs (Private reads No images found on a free account). Then the writing starts: a first-person About in her own drawl, a Story that takes in Fort Worth, a rodeo arena and a silver Airstream, and a Personality paragraph that calls her sunny act "a deliberate act that earns her great tips and keeps people underestimating her." Not all of them go that deep (Kayla Reed's story is four short sentences).

Name, age and tagline, then About, Story and Personality — all written in her own voice.

How she writes to you

Open a chat and a card asks How should she write to you? Real chat means she texts like a person, short and natural. Roleplay means she writes the story out with you, scenes and actions and longer replies. In the screenshot Luna Ashford's opener ("Hey you, my name is Luna. I'm curious about you, what's your story?") sits under the picker. A smart touch. I haven't seen another service ask this up front.

The chat opens by asking how she should write to you: Real chat, or Roleplay.

Building your own

Create, in the top bar, is free to start and runs along four lines: her looks, her personality (sweet, shy, dominant, playful), her voice and accent, and her story. Her photo comes with a plan, HeyGF's blog says.

Photos, video and voice

Photos come through the chat: you ask (the site's own example is a mirror selfie in her red dress) and she sends. As an NSFW AI girlfriend, HeyGF leans on the subscription: NSFW content comes with every plan, and private NSFW videos need one. Uncensored has limits too: the moderation policy blocks incest, non-consensual content, bestiality and gore, among others. The terms ask you not to download or save any media. Video starts from a photo she's sent: tap the video icon, describe the motion, pick a model. The blog's guide lists three models, clips of 5 to 15 seconds and sound on the top one only. Render times and resolution options, I couldn't confirm. Calls come with a plan, paid by the minute in coins.

What it costs

Chatting is free with no card. The pricing page gives no limits for free, but a blog post from September 21 says 5 messages a day with no account and 30 once you sign in. The FAQ puts custom photos, videos and "enhanced intimate chat" behind a subscription, and how explicit free chat gets I couldn't confirm. The screenshot puts the Monthly and Annual tabs side by side: three cards each, coins counted per month on one side and per year on the other, a crossed-out price on each, and a Continue button with a card icon and a Bitcoin symbol.
HeyGF pricing page comparing monthly plans at 9.99, 19.99 and 39.99 dollars with the annual equivalents at 8.33, 15.83 and 29.17 dollars a month
Monthly on the left, Annual on the right. The crossed-out figures work out to ten cents a coin; the real monthly prices are $9.99, $19.99 and $39.99.
The crossed-out $15, $35 and $80 are list prices at exactly ten cents a coin, and the SAVE 44, 55 and 64% badges on Annual are measured against them. The real monthly prices are $9.99, $19.99 and $39.99, so annual saves 17, 21 and 27 percent. Standard practice here, and still real money. Annual adds no coins (1,800 a year is 150 a month), only each girl's full photo gallery.
  • Casual: $9.99 monthly, $8.33 a month on annual, 150 coins a month
  • Closer (Popular): $19.99 monthly, $15.83 on annual ($189.99 a year), 350 coins
  • Exclusive: $39.99 monthly, $29.17 on annual, 800 coins
  • Every plan: unlimited messages, NSFW content, custom private photos and videos, every girl
Text is the good part: unlimited on every plan, and it never costs coins. Everything else runs on coins, and the plan page doesn't say what a coin buys. The blog puts a chat photo at 3 coins and a call at a coin a minute. On Casual that's about 50 photos a month at 20 cents each, or calls at about 7 cents a minute, and I haven't seen a cheaper minute in this category. Video prices vary with model and length and show before you tap. Plan coins expire with the billing period, the blog says, and pack coins never do. Cancel anytime from settings; the plan runs to the end of the paid period and renews until you stop it. Partial periods aren't refunded, coin packs and custom media are final, and billing errors are reviewed case by case. I found no 14-day withdrawal right for EU or UK buyers in the terms.

What they do with your chats

Most sites in this category list training their models on your data in the fine print. HeyGF's privacy policy says the opposite in one line: "We do not use your conversations to train AI models." It uses them for memory instead, so your companion remembers what you've told her. That's the best argument HeyGF has. Replies come from AI models, some run by outside providers, and the policy says parts of your chat go to them without saying what they do with it. At sign-up, sign-in or purchase, ad partners such as Meta and Google may get your email, name and account ID, which sits oddly beside the home page's 100% anonymous line. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, deleting from Settings closes the account but they keep a record, and permanent erasure means emailing privacy@heygf.ai. Y2A LLC runs it from Dover, Delaware, with nine legal pages including a 2257 statement that calls every image AI-generated. The FAQ says bank statements won't mention AI girlfriend.

So, is HeyGF worth it?

For talking, yes. Unlimited messages on every plan, characters with some backbone and a written promise not to train on your chats make a better hand than most of this category deals. What holds it back: coin prices that live in a blog, annual badges that flatter the saving and no cooling-off period for EU or UK buyers. Start free, then try Casual monthly before paying for a year.

  • NSFW content, custom photos and private videos need a plan, and I couldn't confirm how explicit free chat gets
